Calling all Memory Workers.
Legacy Left publishes small books of powerful interviews with radical social movement elders. What lessons should be passed on to new generations? What radical visions of the past will provide inspiration for today? What old strategies should be jettisoned? How does one maintain their political commitments throughout the decades?
We are in a war for memory. The far-right advances the politics of amnesia with book bans and the removal of dissident histories. Liberal academia frequently whitewashes years of revolt and grassroots organizing. **Legacy Left** hits back against amnesia and whitewashing by asking elders the question, “What do you want to leave to the next generation?”
